Brand Identity

The Brand Allison Hall is a young makeup artist who commissioned me to create a brand for her business. She mostly does weddings, but started branching out in the commercial area. She needed something bold and striking, yet feminine.

The Logo Stellar Flair had to be unique and attractive. I “borrowed” one of my favorite fonts, Bodoni, and deconstructed it, taking away stems and arms, but leaving enough of the letterform to be recognizable. I also altered the serifs to make it more distinct.

Conclusion Once the logo was finalized, the design process became fluid. The aim was to create something classic and unique, and help launch her into the world of commercial makeup artistry with something she can be proud of.
